Schedule

The weekly schedule for all C-Velo classes changes about every 3 months. This change corresponds to the progressive nature of the classes as well as the seasons of the year. Each week of the series (or season) is outlined with what classes are offered and when. There are generally 3 classes of the same workout per week (Monday-Tuesday class #1), (Wednesday-Thursday class #2), (Saturday class #3).

Class Descriptions: Class options remain as in Studio or virtual at home.Virtual training will require a smart trainer, subscription to Xert and optional subscription to Zwift. In studio will require a subscription to Xert. Please contact us for information regarding these subscriptions.

PPT (Progressive Power Training) – During the summer, most coaches recommend at least 1-2 structured interval sessions per week to complement your outdoor rides. This allows for measured intensity to continue to build or sustain conditioning. We’ll offer 2 such sessions per week throughout the summer to keep you sharp and focused. If you trained hard from Fall – Spring, don’t let that hard earned fitness go to waste. These sessions will maintain your high end Threshold, VO2 max, and Anaerobic Fitness. Where specified, PP will be in studio and/or Virtual.

Cyclocross(CX) Training block – This is the start of an 8 week training block designed to mimic the training intensities of cyclocross racing. This will run from the last week in July – August and have you in optimum condition for CX racing in Portland beginning in September. Registration for this block will require a pre-registration commitment for the full 8 weeks. Classes will meet 2x/wk on Monday and Thursday evenings. The class will enroll a maximum of 9 people. Monday classes will be in studio training sessions only and Thursday will be a training session that will start in studio and a skills session conducted at Sellwood Park immediately following.
